Cindy has been an instructor of experiential learning for the past 15 years.  As Director of Oklahoma’s Robots-4-U she provides summer camps, afterschool programs and enrichment programs for homeschool groups in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas.  She is excited to bring the STEM Robotic program to The Loop- her program provides a learning environment that stimulates interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Gus Weaver is a Norman performing artist who specializes in classical music.  His recent performances include Norman Art Walks and area gatherings, the 2015 Taneycomo Music Festival Orchestra in Branson, MO, and section violinist in the Amarillo and Ft. Smith Symphonies.  Many of these performances express his effort to bring classical music to places it is normally not found and to people who don’t usually hear it.  His non-classical music work includes contemplative music performances and square dances.  Mr. Weaver has been playing for 27 years.  He pursued violin studies at the University of Notre Dame, Portland State University, Idaho State University, and the University of Oklahoma, and he pursued viola studies at Idaho State University.  He has a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Oklahoma, where he studied with Hal Grossman, and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Idaho State University, where he studied with Chung Park and Keum Hwa Cha.  Mr. Weaver can be reached at j_a_weaver@hotmail.com.


Chelsea Gonzales- Irish Dance, TheaterIMG_2996

The Director of the Oklahoma Academy of Irish Dance and youth theater director, Chelsea Gonzales is excited to bring her passions to the people of The Loop! Chelsea is an Oklahoma native and was home schooled for all of middle school and high school. She spent her years as a home schooled student immersing herself in the world of the arts and happily remains in that world to this day.
Chelsea discovered her love for Irish dancing at the age of 12. She quickly worked her way to the championship Irish dance level and then took up assistant teaching. In 2007, at age 19, she opened the Oklahoma Academy of Irish Dance. Students of OAID perform at festivals and events all over Oklahoma and across the US.
Mrs. Gonzales has been involved in all aspects of theater since she was 4 years old.  Some of her favorite roles include Echo in Eleemosynary, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, and Maisie La Bird in Seussical.  When she was15, Chelsea founded Oklahoma Youth Theater Project, which gave kids the chance to be involved in all aspects of producing a show. Under OYTP she directed several shows including 12 Dancing Princesses, Snow White, and her personal favorite, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.  Chelsea is wife to her wonderful supportive husband Chris and momma to her clever boy Brendon whom she plans to home school when the time comes.  She can be reached at irishdanceok@yahoo.com.

Sean Stoneman is a professionally trained musician who uses percussion and drums as his instrumental voice of choice.  He started playing drums at the age of nine, under the tutelage of his father, a professional musician.

 Throughout Sean’s 26 year military career he was trained under some of the Army’s top percussionists and musical artists.  His musical education includes instruction at the Army School of Music, numerous musical clinics and seminars, countless hours of personal lessons and collegiate level instruction at the University of Oklahoma.  Sean’s musical performance background includes everything from popular music, swing and jazz shows, to public military concerts, parades ceremonies.  Sean has performed at ballparks, parades, musical festivals, public concerts, coffee shops and 3000+ coliseums.  He has performed everything from military marches and Vaudeville classics, to pop music chart breakers and foot stomping dance tunes.  His favorite styles are funk-pop, big band swing and Celtic / Irish / Scottish.  Contact Sean at sestoneman@gmail.com.

Meg Linck has been dancing since the age of 4, and has studied Gymnastics, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Irish Dance.   A home schooled student, Meg is currently studying advanced Ballet and Irish Dance under the direction of LJ Ward and Chelsea Gonzales.  As a Musical Theatre performer, Meg has also taken the stage in numerous productions throughout the metro, including Seussical, Annie, and Miracle Worker, and has been involved in instructing young children at both Poteet Theatre and Oklahoma Academy of Irish Dance for several  years. Meg loves working with children, and is very excited to have this opportunity to share her joy for dance with beginning Irish Dance and Ballet students.

Marilyn Garvey has homeschooled for 17 years. She has 5 children, and 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Garvey attended Morris County Community College in Morristown N.J. and The University of Texas at El Paso.

Over the years, Marilyn has taught problem solving, unit studies, public speaking, improve, Odyssey of the Mind and prophetic art, in several homeschool coops in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

She partners with her husband Marty, in Habitation I Am, a spontaneous worship and intercession ministry. Marilyn has a passion to teach and to help individuals discover the God given gifts of creativity residing on the inside of them. She is also a prophetic artist.

Marilyn will be teaching public speaking, improve, prophetic art and Odyssey of the mind. She is excited and passionate about teaching problem solving techniques, gearing minds to think outside the box and activating artists to bring forth their own expression on canvas.

Patricia Harvey- Infant Massage, Phonics, Transitioning to Cursive

Patricia completed her training as an infant massage instructor in 2012, receiving her CEIM credential from both the International Association of Infant Massage and Infant Massage USA. She has a B.A. in art education.
She founded her blog, http://www.familyfieldguide.com, in 2011, where she combines over a decade as a newspaper features writer with her passion for researching issues that impact child development, families, and society.
Over the course of her “crunchy mom” career, Patti has volunteered with La
Leche League and Girl Scouts, organized a natural foods co-op, and homeschooled
her four children, now adults, for various lengths of time. She is also a trained
Orton-Gillingham tutor (multi-sensory, structured reading/writing/spelling) and
for 12 years taught to children with dyslexia.
The infant massage curriculum is based on the work of Vimala McClure, founder
of the International Association of Infant Massage and author of Infant Massage:
A Handbook for Loving Parents.

Cheryl Jazzar opened The Loop after a profound healing experience in the summer of 2014.  She came home wanting to dance, sing and do art- none of which she knew how to do.  The Loop was up and running only 2 short weeks later!

Cheryl shares her vast knowledge of the healing arts in a variety of classes at The Loop.  As an independent Silver Leader with Young Living Essential Oils she regularly provides bodywork techniques like raindrop, vibrational raindrop, Aroma Dome, emotional release work and raindrop training to her Young Living team at no charge.  Her use of the amazing Zyto Bio Scan technology has been instrumental at helping many families live “above the wellness line”.

Cheryl and her team also teach classes including Essential Oils 101, Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils, Healing Oils of Ancient Scripture,  Supporting a Healthy Mood, and Natural Family Wellness classes and events.  Be sure to check our schedule for current classes!
